Thanks and welcome to my little blog about Plantation Architecture in the Southern U.S. As a child growing up in Eastern Arkansas I have had a love for the grand old houses that were scattered throughout the South. I'm hoping this blog with give me a good place to ramble about the history, the details, all kinds of info I can come up with about my favorite houses. If you have any input please do. I have a feeling this will be random but hey, nothing wrong with that.
